Monday was Nikolai Fomenko’s birthday. He has been at home since last Friday. Nikolai and his mother were discharged from the hospital to have some rest for two weeks before going to Kiev for the allogenic bone marrow transplantation. He needs $5,000 more for this surgery. His mother and other relatives do their best in fundraising but they have not been successful because Nikolai has been prescribed very expensive medications just recently. Last week his condition got worse. Nikolai had to take Granosite and Grosalva. On Thursday, he had a blood transfusion.

On Tuesday, the doctors finally suppressed the hemorrhage Oksana Tarasevich had been having. Thank you very much for raising the money for Immunate. Oksana got another problem: she got infected with hepatitis C during the blood transfusion. Now she will need to undergo a long-term treatment.

Last month, we got a new patient at our hospital. His name is Oleg Senin. Oleg is 18 years old. Unfortunately, none of his relatives could become a bone marrow donor for Oleg, which means he needs an allogenic bone marrow transplantation. The clinic in Belarus agreed to take Oleg for treatment. They have already sent him an invoice for $155,000. Oleg doesn’t have that type of money. He needs your help with raising the money for the allogenic bone marrow transplant. Oleg also needs blood donors all the time. He has already borrowed the donor blood for more than 20 transfusions. Now he has to give it back.
