Please, help Daniel come back home

Daniel Pshenichniy has spent a year in Israel undergoing treatment. He had to endure a lot of suffering during that year… But now we can say with certainty that it was not in vain! Daniel will come back home soon, very soon. The bone marrow he got from the donor produces erythrocytes, which his own bone marrow couldn’t produce. Last time he had a blood transfusion done on July 22, 2008! Although he is just a little kid, he understands and notices it. One day Daniel came up to another boy who was receiving a blood transfusion. He took that boy by the hand and told him, “Don’t be afraid. I used to receive blood transfusions all the time. But now I feel better. I can run.”
Although Daniel catches colds occasionally, his condition is rather stable now. He keeps asking his mother, “Mum, when are we going back home?” When his mother answers that Daniel still needs to finish his treatment because he is sick, he says, “That’s right! When you want me to do something, you say I am healthy. When it comes to going
back home, you say I am sick!” Now about the main problem. In a couple of weeks Daniel has to go back home to Ukraine. However, they can’t leave Israel because they don’t have money for the tickets. When they came to Israel, they had open-date tickets that were valid for six months. But they couldn’t leave because Daniel got problems with the immune system. Neither they could exchange the tickets. As a result, Daniel and his parents got “stuck” in Israel without money, without tickets, without valid visas. They have already booked the tickets and have to purchase them by the end of this week. They need $1,500 for the tickets and for the renewal of their visas (it has to be done as soon as possible). Another problem is that Daniel has not been receiving any donations at all for a while. They didn’t even have money to pay the rent this month. We had to give them some money from our reserve fund. It looks like a dead end: they don’t have money to stay, neither they have money to leave. Please, help them!
