Julia Sinezhuk is at the Cancer Institute in Kiev. She is starting a 3-day megadose chemotherapy block on July 24. It will be followed by the collection of the stem cells. She will have a very low blood count as a result of this block. Julia will need 8 ampules Granocite. Altogether, it will cost $1940. I will say it again for you and for myself: one thousand nine hundred and forty dollars. I have no idea how we are going to raise that much money. The Cancer Institute in Kiev used to have no problems with the supplies of the medications for their patients. However, they barely have any medications in stock right now, although these medications are vitally important. Why? The answer is simple - the country is in the economic recession. We hope these are temporal difficulties and the situation will change for the better soon. We don’t know when/if the hospital will get the medications. But what we do know is that Julia Sinezhuk will need 8 ampules of Granocite by the end of July.
