Olga Netyuhailo passed away on July 18. Now she doesn’t have any more pain. Olga suffered so much during the last few weeks of her life. She was at the intensive care unit because her lungs and kidneys didn’t function any more. We would like to say thank you to everyone who was with Olga, who was supporting her, who prayed for her… Olga, you will always be in our hearts!

Olga Netyuhailo, DOB July 22, 1999, acute lymphoblastic leukemia

My daughter’s name is Olga. She is 9 years old. She was diagnozed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. This diagnosis sounded like a death sentence to me. I knew about this disease only by hearsay. Acute lymphoblastic leukemia can be treated. However, the long-term treatment of this disease is very expensive. Right now Olga stays at the Hadassa University Clinic (Jerusalem, Israel). We went there because the doctors said Olga needed a bone marrow transplant from a non-relative donor. Olga also has fungal infection in her lungs. All my relatives, friends, and colleagues gave everything they had, but we are still short of money. We are unable to pay for Olga’s further treatment. We will be thankful for any help.
