We would like to say thanks to everyone helping Karina Svistun financially and emotionally, to everyone visiting her at the hospital and praying for her. Karina needs your support very much. Please, don’t forget about this little girl. She still has a very long way to go towards complete recovery. Karina has completed the fourth block of chemotherapy. The surgery for implantation of the extendable endoprosthesis is scheduled for the middle of September. Karina will need to undergo two more blocks of chemotherapy before she can have a surgery. After the surgery, she will need 8 more blocks of chemotherapy. The tumor is responding to the treatment. It’s getting smaller. Karina has every chance to overcome cancer!

Karina’s mother is at home in Kremenchug right now because her second baby is due in a week or so. Karina has been staying at the hospital with her grandmother Vera. Let’s support this brave girl. Karina will have her birthday on July 31. She will turn 9 years old. She will have to celebrate her birthday at the Cancer Institute with an IV in her hand. It will be the first day of her fifth block of chemotherapy. It would be great if you could come and see her or could give her a present. Karina likes dolls, kits for paper cutting, princesses, etc.
