website1Vlad Krylov has finally completed his treatment at the hospital. Now he is going home! No, I would rather say he is running home at the highest possible speed. Vlad was looking forward to this day. He knew he would go home soon. That’s why he didn’t bother waiting for the clown’s question about a boy who had completed the treatment. Vlad simply jumped off the chair with his hands up in the air and cried out, “It’s me! It’s me!!!” We would like to wish good health to this boy and his mother. Money can buy the rest of things.

Vlad Krylov, born in 2005

krilovVlad is 3.5 years. He has been at the hospital for three weeks. He got changed a lot during this time because he had to take the hormonal therapy. He used to be a skinny blond boy, a very quiet child. You can see in the picture how much he changed. He also became very aggressive and willful because of the chronic pain and tough treatment. However, he understands that it’s not good to get angry at his mother. He usually asks his crying mother to forgive him, as soon as he calms down. Svetlana, Vlad’s mother, doesn’t have a husband. She has only a sick mother and a sister, who live in a village. This is a very poor family. They need financial support. Vlad has all the medications he needs for the chemotherapy. He even has some medications for the supporting therapy. However, yesterday I witnessed how Svetlana couldn’t afford buying several vials of Lazolvan to treat Vlad’s cough.

And it is not the only medication Svetlana has to buy for her son. Yesterday, two volunteers, Vera Dranenko and Alexander Sokolan, bought Lazolvan as soon as they learned Vlad needed it. Tomorrow I will take some money to Svetlana donated by Irene Polyanskiy. But Vlad will need support until the first block of chemotherapy is over, i.e., for about four more weeks. Vlad don’t need a lot of money because he has almost all the medications he needs. However, his mother needs money to buy the drugs for the supporting therapy.
